There are some houses that are beautiful to view and some that make you say, “This feels like home.” Still Waters, located north of Jackson in a serene and scenic area just past the confluence of the Snake and Gros Ventre rivers, is both. It’s a timber and stone work of art, but one that’s designed to be lived in, not just looked at. To be there is a calm and relaxing experience.

In a recent survey of Americans’ well-being, conducted by Gallup, Wyoming scored third in a poll that rated variables such as mental, physical and economic health. Utah took first place and the islands of Hawaii took second. Combined with a low state unemployment rate, Wyoming is one that few states in the nation that can boast of such heath and happiness.

For airline passengers traveling to Jackson Hole, the view out the plane windows on their approach to Jackson Hole Airport whets the appetite for winter fun. The sight of the snow-covered Tetons and the vast stretches of white-covered open spaces in Grand Teton National Park confirms they’ve made the right choice of a place to live, vacation or own a second home.

InWyoming, because of the challenging winters,most construction projects tend to take longer than planned.At Shooting Star™, the golf course, under the able supervision of Golf CourseManager, Bill Shrum, was completed last fall two weeks ahead of schedule and will finish growing in this spring, in time for a July 1st opening.
